Shasta’s Story Round-Up: September 2016

C-O-U-G-A-R-S! Last night, Coogs as faced the University of Connecticut — the only team to defeat them last season. It truly was REDemption, with Coogs claiming victory 42 to 14! Kathryn Haydn

Kathryn Haydn is a non-fiction television producer and actress, best known for producing “Ice Lake Rebels” (Animal Planet) and “Swamp Loggers” (Discovery Channel). She visited the Valenti School of Communication in August, 2016 to share her experience in the television industry with students in a documentary filmmaking class,

Trevor Davis (M.B.A. ’13)

Growing up near the water on the east coast, Trevor Davis (M.B.A. ’13) wasn’t yet a teenager when he decided he wanted to be a deep-sea diver. With his advanced diver certification in hand at age 13, he was well on his way.

Melissa Ginsburg (’02)

Melissa Ginsburg (’02) is the author of the novel “Sunset City,” published by Ecco earlier this year. She lives in Oxford, Mississippi, where she is assistant professor of creative writing and literature at the University of Mississippi.

Kevin Klotz (M.M. ’02, D.M.A. ’15)

Kevin Klotz (M.M. ’02, D.M.A. ’15) completed both a master’s degree and a doctoral degree in choral conducting at the Moores School of Music. He has recently been appointed as the Artistic Director of the Houston Choral Society and the Director of Choirs at Wharton County Junior College.
