Cougar Connection Series was launched this fall to give alumni an opportunity to learn about the exciting developments that are shaping their beloved University of Houston in a fun, engaging manner. The series aluminars, as we call them, feature guest speakers who are helping move the University forward with their diverse programs and initiatives.

The series kicked off with UHAA Foundation Immediate Past President, Bill Hickl (’86) and UHAA Foundation President, Brent Chinn (FS ’82). With the help of Eloise Brice as narrator, Hickl and Chinn discussed the many ways for alumni to get involved at University of Houston, and the perks associated with involvement! Our second alumniar featured Intercollegiate Athletics Vice President, Chris Pezman (’92), who provided an abundance of information on “UH Athletics and You.” With football season in full swing, Pezman, alongside Brice, provided tips that helped enhance our Cougar spirit.

The Alumni Association will continue to make connecting with alums the utmost priority. These aluminars, as well as information on future series topics, can be found on houstonalumni.com.
