About UHAA

It takes a lot of involved alumni and friends of the University to give our former students the best alumni experience possible. The UHAA Board is composed of individuals who give of their time and talent to ensure that our events are always enjoyable and our message is loud and clear — that it’s great to be a Coog! Likewise, our staff works tirelessly planning and executing everything from UH Day at the Capitol to Homecoming and Reunion events.

The University of Houston Alumni Association (UHAA) is the official name of the organization that brings its members exclusive benefits and represents 266,000 total UH alumni. Alumni and former students are members by virtue of their time at the University of Houston. There are no dues required.

The University of Houston Alumni Association Foundation (UHAAF) is the official name of the separate foundation that advises the University’s Alumni Relations program, maintains fiduciary responsibility for the 45 constituent groups, manages the corporate sponsors and affinity partners, oversees Legislative Advocacy and Alumni Scholarship program. It is managed by a Board of Directors. The 2018-18 president is Brent Chinn (FS ’82)
