Are you ready?

We hope you are as excited as we are for the 2016-17 National Presidential Events Tour! Are you curious about what the night will bring? We have more surprises lined up than ever before — read on to make sure you are prepared!

Of course, your presence at the reception is most important. We look forward to seeing alumni of all ages — and please feel free to bring a friend. The only real requirement to attend is Cougar pride! But, we’d like to give you an idea of what to expect in Dallas on October 19, Washington, D.C. on October 27 and New York on November 2.

Reminisce about the PAST

We’ll have many opportunities to share UH experiences at the event, but beforehand, make sure to send your UH photos to highlighthouston@uh.edu. Whether your photos are of the dorms, football games, Frontier Fiesta, or just hanging around on campus — if they represent a favorite UH memory, we want to share them.

Also, make sure to brush up on your UH history trivia for a chance to win fabulous prizes!

are you ready?

UH got two thumbs up from Los Angeles earlier this year — stay tuned for 2017 events in more U.S. cities!

Appreciate the PRESENT

Network and visit with your fellow Coogs and friends, on us! All receptions include food, drink, and amazing views of the host city. In New York at the NFL Headquarters, you’ll even catch a glimpse of the Lombardi trophy and Superbowl rings.

Haven’t been in touch with UH recently? No problem. You’ll learn all about how the University has evolved in recent years, from student success stories to groundbreaking research to artistic innovation.

Celebrate our boundless FUTURE

Take a moment to think about where you’d like to see UH in 2020. We will have beautifully designed yearbooks to encompass our hopes and goals for our beloved University — as friends and alumni of UH, you are a vital part of that future. Make your mark on it!

If you can’t think of a future goal for the University, don’t worry — President Renu Khator’s vision is sure to inspire.

If you have any questions about any of the events, or haven’t received an invitation, email highlighthouston@uh.edu or call 713-743-0332. We can’t wait to see you in Dallas, Washington D.C., and New York in 2016!
