UHAA Across the Nation

On Broadway, in the Mile-High City or Tinseltown — Cougars are everywhere, and UHAA has had an unprecedented presence in cities around the country in 2014 and 2015. President Khator could be spotted in New York, Washington D.C. and San Francisco, visiting with alumni and singing the praises of UH’s faculty and students. Vice President for University Advancement Eloise Dunn Stuhr shared the specifics of UH initiatives in Denver, Los Angeles and San Francisco, such as the new UH-in-4 program, which guarantees fixed tuition to students who pledge to graduate in four years. Carl Lewis (FS ’82) and Leroy Burrell (’94), UH’s decorated track coaches, spread excitement for UH Athletics in Los Angeles. At all events, alumni attendees made new connections with their fellow Coogs, learned more about their alma mater and came away with a stronger sense of Cougar pride. Stay tuned for upcoming events in your city!
