2015 Homecoming

Homecoming is one of the most exciting events on any college campus and 2015 was no exception at UH. UHAA welcomed thousands of alumni back to campus during Homecoming week (November 2-8). Events kicked off with Cougars taking to the links on Wednesday at the UHAA Celebrity Golf Classic held at Quail Valley Golf Club. On Friday, members of the class of 1965 gathered in the O’Quinn Great Hall at the Alumni Center for their 50th Reunion Luncheon to reminisce and celebrate their time at UH. Later that day, UHAA hosted a number of high school age students and their families for a college readiness event to learn about the admissions process and the University.

Lastly, no Homecoming week is complete without a football game! The Cougars faced off against the University of Cincinnati in TDECU Stadium and UHAA played its part in getting fans ready for the game with the Homecoming Party on the Plaza. Just like every home game, thousands of dedicated Cougars came together to welcome the team on the Cougar Walk, cheer with the band and celebrate all things UH. Additionally, UH students celebrated Homecoming with events such as the Kick-Off Pep Rally, the Grand Challenges Forum with Jan Jarboe Russell and a concert featuring Lupe Fiasco and Wale at Hofheinz Pavilion.
